It's been an eon since I've found time to write. But here I am, with a quick update from my new desk at work.
I got a job at the University of Winnipeg. I am the "Assistant to the Post Secondary Education Community Outreach Coordinator". Mouth full. Essentially my boss and I put on Family information evenings to tell parents about RESP's and other Canadian savings programs for their kids education, and show them how possible it is to start saving despite income barriers. It's pretty neat.
It's been busy, but so good. I can't believe it sometimes. I mean, I just started two days ago, but I love it. It's different than any other job I've had. I just love what I'm doing.
Yay job.
In other news, life is going well. I have one month until I'm done my last class, and then in June I have my grad. I'm not going traveling next year because of the job, but I'm not complaining.
Things with Andrew are super. I love that boy.
I'm going out to Hamilton in April or May to visit Jess and Jon, and I'm super excited. If I can't travel far away, I might as well bank some overtime and go places for fun!
That's all I got for now.
Over and out.

...does that mean we can see each other around and go for coffee next year?
Yipee for a Janessa visit! So happy you are loving the new job. xo
I'm glad you are enjoying your new job so far. I hope it continues to go well for you.
Secondly, I'm jealous that you get to visit Jon & Jess - give them a hug for me.
Hey you, been a while since I visited here...but, if you find yourself in Hamilton, perhaps you can find a moment to make your way to the big T.O for a visit. I'll be here at least until the end of June
